First reporting period April 2014

So far in PE this semester, I have found myself continuing on the successful path I started in grade 9. 

As I wrote in my midterm, I have been able to accomplish my goal of using my blog more. Although there was a gap during spring break, I have otherwise managed to be posting every week. This helps me go into each week with new goals, and knowing what works and what doesn't for my fitness. I have found myself re reading my posts and it has definitely benefitted me. 

I have not missed very many classes, it's rare and unlikely for me to be away. Each day that I come to class I always always come with strip, and am prepared for whatever workout we may be faced wih for the day. 

I also dont bring my phone much which was to prevent myself from getting distracted, but I think that I need to start bringing it, as I want to start using more digital evidence in my posts. I think it would really enhance my blog and accomplishments if I began to digitally document my success.

Ways that I have found myself improving this semester is a lot through being more open and being open to working wih more people. In the beginning I didn't really know anyone in my class, so through weight room and class activities I have been talking to and working with new people. This has helped me develop new friendships, and be able to spread my positivity and encouragement with others. Furthermore, I have improved in fitness as I don't stop during workouts anymore. At the beginning of the semester during a lot of the workouts, I found mysel stopping to catch my breath or going to get water now. This happens very rearely now, I seem to only need to take a break during insanity as I haven't quite conquered the intensity of that workout. Not taking breaks means me working myself harder and pushing my limits further. I have found my running endurance slowly start to come back, and I hope for it to be fully back by the en of the semester. I find myself also a lot stronger in muscle as I can do a lot more muscle orientated workouts for longer periods of time, more reps, and in the weight room, more weight.

Outside of class I have made a few changes as well. I'm practicing a lot more for my dance class, and trying to set flexibility goals for myself. I've also been partaking in family outings that involve me and my family being active. Some of these things include lots 1 hour walks, recently at the beach, and many other small activities which will increase as the spring arrives. Additionally, I have been eating better. I try to eat earlier in the day, to not only prepare myself for the rest of the day, but also for pe first thing in the morning. 

My goals for the upcoming months include trying to me more vocal with my thoughts and ideas, having a proper assessment of my running through the beep test, hopefully reaching at least at 10, and further finding new people to work with and encourage. I also want to try to workout (preferably running) at least one more day outside of class. As it gets nicer outside, this will be easier to do. 

In this semester so far I am proud of what I have been able to accomplish and hope that I will continue to have the same success and reach my new goals that I have set for myself.
