Monday: Monday we worked in blogs for part of the class, and the other half we played four corner soccer. Four corner soccer was fun but I felt like I didn't get to play as much as I wanted to and stayed by the net as I found only so many people could go for the ball at once.
Tuesday: For Tuesdays fitness we did running relays in the back parking lot. I worked really well as team with my friends and we were very encouraging and motivating of each other, we took into consideration everyone's running ability. I ran 4 times, challenging myself to run as fast and as hard as I could each time. I could have ran more laps but found myself with a bad stomach cramp after a while at sat out while I let it settle and cheered on my friends.
Wednesday: This day was choice and I chose to play Badminton. I've never really had much experience with badminton and thought it would be fun to try. I found it a lot of fun, and the game got quite challenging as we began to be very competitive with one another. I had a blast and got a good workout out of it and even ended up with a few bruises and scraps from diving to get the birdie.
Thursday: Absent due to personal reasons.
Friday: Friday was fitness testing day. The beep test was a huge disappointment for me because of my falling do to a shoelace coming undone as discussed in an earlier post. However at almost level 9 I was no where close to being done, therefore showing me that I will be able to get much higher next time. The rest of the fitness training afterwards went quite well, I found myself maintaining a lot of my testing outcomes, and even improving in some areas, especially balance. I want to work on my flexibility a bit more as it is something I've also been working on for dance.
My week overall challenged me on new levels, allowed me to see where I want and need my goals to be, and also taught me to make sure my shoe laces are always tied :)
