Another goal I have set for myself is to expand on friendships in this class, and to further demonstrate leadership. Additionally I need to start up my weekly blogs again, as I have failed to get them started in these first few weeks. I am proud of what I have accomplished so far, and see myself as an active and positive person in our class. I have a clear mindset of the goals I would like to accomplish in the near future, and look forward to accomplishing them. These reasons and more allow me to believe that I deserve a G in my work habit mark.
Interm Report March 2014
After 4 weeks of PE class, I feel my work habit is at the level of a G. I believe that I deserve a G because each class I arrive on time, with pe strip, and to date have only missed one class due to illness. Furthermore, each day in PE I come willing to workout, striving to work to te best of my ability. I have found myself extremely self-motivated this year, trying my best for myself, not trying to do it for a teacher or anyone else, not concentrating on others abilities, but more so my own. Though I have found myself to not be so competitive, I still feel I have been able to demonstrate leadership within my own class, as well as the other grade 10 class. Me demonstrating leadership is encouraging others to partake in each activity, even when it may not be our favourite one. Furthermore, I encourage friends and those around me to come to class, do the workout and have fun doing it. Sometimes it means telling them this, other times it mean partnering up with them to continually encourage them. Also , I always try my best to enclude everyone and never leave people with no one to work out with, ensuring everyone feels comfortable in PE class. As it has only been 4 weeks in class, it's hard to take note on any significant personal improvement. However, in this time I have been able to see where I want to go with my goals, and what areas I need to improve in. My fitness level since grade 9, has declined, not so much in strength or endurance in constantly moving, but more in running. Through summer and first semester, I did partake in active activities such as dance class weekly, but did not do much running. In this term I would like to get my running level up to what it was in grade 9, and once there strive to go even further. As my best in grade 9 was 11.2 on the beep test, I would like to be at around an 11 by the end of this term, and a mid 11 or 12 by semester end.
