Community Run April.16th 2013
Today, we did the community run for fitness. The community run is my favourite fitness activity. Thought today, we did a bit of a longer different route. Therefore, it may take a little getting used to the new course of hills and what pace to keep. However, I did have fun running. I stayed with Kate at the beginning, but eventually found my own pace and ran on my own. The hardest part for me was around the 16 minute mark because I had ran a little too fast in the beginning and worn myself out. However, a free a few minutes I was able to recover and keep going all the way to the if finish. I finished with a time of 23 minutes. I am not disappointed with this time, but I hope to improve next time by having a slower pace in the beginning as there are many hills starting off. Overall, I got a good workout today and am proud of what I accomplished.
