Semester 2 Interm Report
March.6th.2013
The beginning of this semester has been going quite well for me. I consistently try my best to my abilities, have a positive attitude, and encourage and push myself to improve and achieve goals. I have continued to reach for and accomplish goals I have set out for myself. As an example, in fitness, during most activities and I can go to start from finish on one pace without a walking break or slowing down. As well, during fitness activities, I have found new people to work out with, which are more or less on the same pace as me. It has worked well making new friends whom I can encourage without slowing myself down. Therefore, I have been trying to always be optimistic and supportive to my classmates around me. Also, in the weight room, I carefully chose my partner who would have the same energy as me, so I would be able to benefit from the day. Together we had a lot of success and came up with new and creative activities geared toward each other. Furthermore, we recorded and helped others record photographic and video evidence of each other trying our best or demonstrating our unique workouts. On days when I'm not feeling well, and may not be able to do my best, I tend to work with those on a lower pace than I would normally be. I have actually had success in getting a friend more motivated during a fitness activity! I am proud that I was able to positively influence someone on a day where I would have otherwise had little energy or motivation. Additionally, I think class activities are becoming a lot more fun. I am very positive during class and I think the whole class is very good at being positive and making every class fun. I have continually always had PE strip and have always had good attendance. The one thing I would say negatively is that I need to update my blog more often! I have all my workout sheets as well as photos and videos, but I need to be uploading them! Also I should store more of my evidence on my own devices because getting them from others who have recorded has proved to be a challenge. My goal toward my blog is now to have a weekly blog that I will post every 2 weeks. I'm aiming for this to include a description and evidence from 2 fitness activities and at least 1 or 2 class days. I feel I am continuing to have success in PE and I will continue to work hard and reach my goals.
